Secure your account right after buying

Securing the account straight away makes sure nobody else can get back in. Do it while the warranty is still running.

1. Log in and check the account matches the offer.
2. Change the account password.
3. Change the email on the account to your own, or change the email's password if it was included.
4. Turn on two-factor authentication. For Steam, set up the Steam Mobile Authenticator on your phone.
5. On Steam, choose Deauthorize all other devices and check the phone number on the account.
6. Take a few screenshots (profile, rank, inventory). They help if you ever need to open a dispute.
